My brave friend Gene Harper was one of many who enlisted after 9/11. Gene already had a successful career and life in NYC but dropped everything to stand up for his country. Gene did two tours of duty, enduring more than I could possibly imagine, including being wounded, and he still carries that shrapnel with him today.
Gene is a hero and we are so proud of him!
