Radio Man during WWII & Korean Conflict, “Al” Clendenin achieved the rank of Master Chief, continuing to serve post war. He became a much requested Radioman Instructor. Upon Military retirement he became a Civil servant for an additional 20 years. A devoted family man, MC Clendenin raised a family of 7 boys, with his wife Julia. William “Al” Clendenin died Saturday, having lived nearly 60 years in Norfolk VA. 8/5/1923-1/18/2013.

    Would it be possible for me to contact his family to express how I feel about his service? Everything above board; I have a daughter who enlisted last year & is a mechanic with HM 14s. She is presently at the Norfolk base, home state New York.
